Approving the Kaushal Vikas Yojana in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh

The program will educate farm children on the use of drones and farm equipment.

In order to automate agriculture, the state council in Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) on Tuesday accepted the Kaushal Vikas Yojana, which provides farmers’ children with a 10-day training program on how to use drones for farming.

In addition, 6,000 young people will receive training to handle major agricultural equipment over a three-year period. A result of this will be independent work. The budget for the project is Rs 22.73 crore.

The plan to build the very highest temperature power unit of Chachai’s Amarkantak Thermal Power Station was also approved by the cabinet. The cost to establish this plant is Rs 4,665.87 crore. It will have a 1×660 Megawatt capacity.

Future state power requirements will be taken into consideration while setting up this unit. Beginning in 2027–2028, the unit will be produced commercially.

The government approved the plan for a new agriculture college in Panna. The Jawaharlal Nehru Agricultural University in Jabalpur will supervise it.

Three other Tehsils, Chhegaon Makan in the Khandwa district, Bargawaha in the Singhrauli district, and Soyatkalan in the Agar-Malwa district were also approved to be constructed.

After hailstorms and unusual weather rainfall destroyed farmers’ crops, the government decided to provide farmers zero percent interest loans the next year and stop legal action against them. The government will pay the interest on the amount recovered.

The Tehsil decision was postponed

At the cabinet meeting, the plan to establish two additional Tehsils in Bhopal was postponed. The establishment of Kolar and Bairagarh tehsils in the city was proposed. Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the chief minister, requested a thorough proposal in this respect, hence the idea was postponed at his request.

The transfer limit, according to the CM, will be removed in April.
