Farmers receive financial support from the government via the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM KISAN) program in the amount of Rs. 6,000 annually.
Recently, under the “PM-KISAN” scheme, Prime Minister Narendra Modi distributed Rs. 16,800 crores in direct benefit transfers to approximately 80 million farmers. The plan is currently at its thirteenth stage. The PM-KISAN scheme’s eleventh and twelfth installments were made public in May and October of 2022, respectively.
Follow these easy procedures if you are a PM-KISAN scheme beneficiary and want to change your name to match your Aadhaar.
-On the portal’s home page, under the “Farmers Corner” section, locate “Change Beneficiary Name as per Aadhaar” and enter the Aadhaar number as instructed on the website under PM Kisan’s new edition.
The application will next check the database against the provided Aadhaar number.
Please indicate whether you wish to alter your name (Yes/No) if your Aadhaar number is already in use.
A message will appear if the Aadhaar number cannot be located in the database “The database does not contain the entered Aadhaar number. Please contact the district/village level officer for more details.

– Click the e-KYC link and complete the e-KYC.
– After that, it will direct you to finish the e-KYC process, after which the farmer’s data obtained from Aadhaar will be updated in the PM KISAN database. Demographic information including name, gender, date of birth, residence, Aadhar identity, and father’s or husband’s name will be updated in the database.
-After complete e-KYC, NPCI can be used to monitor the progress of Aadhaar seeding. If a bank account and Aadhaar are linked, records will be sent there for additional processing. If the Aadhaar seeding status is “No,” your Aadhaar number will be linked to a bank account by email. You will receive a notification through email if it is.
