From June 11, free bus travel for women and students will be implemented as part of the Shakti Yojana. Travel within Karnataka is permitted. Apart from AC buses, Rajahamsa buses, KSRTC buses, and BMTC buses are free to use throughout the state. The CM stated that travel from Bangalore to Tirupati or outside the state is not possible. He said that males were allowed 50% reservation in KSRTC buses, but this was not the case with BMTC buses.
He stated that under the Yuvanidhi Yojana, all unemployed graduates who graduate in 2022-2023 would be paid an unemployment payment of Rs 3000 for 24 months and Rs 1500 for diploma holders.
