Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan paid a visit to the Durganagar slum in Nevari and presented acceptance papers for the Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana to women beneficiaries. From June 10, the recipients would get Rs 1000 in their monthly bank accounts. They would be paid Rs 12,000 each year.

During the door-to-door tour, the chief minister navigated tiny passageways and spoke with recipients and their families.

CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan questioned their children, academics, husband’s job, and other matters. The chief minister asked the recipients how they planned to use their Ladli Bahna Yojana acceptance letters. The majority of the ladies stated they would use the money towards their daughter’s schooling.

The chief minister stated that acceptance letters are being sent to ladies at their homes to save them the trouble of going to the offices to collect them.

Sheetal Mahawar, Sushma Raikwar, Kanti Pal, Sunita Lowanshi, and Umaidi Bai received the letter directly from Chouhan.
