According to Arvind Kumar, advisor to the chief minister and CEO of Invest UP, Abhishek Prakash, 26 training sessions would be held throughout the orientation program.
Introduction to various investment-oriented policies, laws, ease of doing business, and many portals, as well as trips to industrial locations, are among them.
Department sessions have been arranged, including sessions on the state government’s major plans such as the trillion-dollar economy and the defense industrial corridor, as well as sessions on the revenue code, land bank and rates, distribution procedures, clearances, and so on.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed the appointment of ‘Udyami Mitras’ to speed the implementation of investment proposals totaling more than Rs 33.50 lakh crore received through the Uttar Pradesh Global Investors Summit 2023 and the following activities.
In the first session, called ‘Destination Uttar Pradesh,’ Arvind Kumar addressed the newly chosen ‘Udyami Mitras’ about the state government’s huge industrial ecosystem.
He also went through the next significant infrastructure projects, such as multi-modal logistics parks, pharma parks, a dedicated freight corridor, and six nodes of the defense corridor, in great detail.
Kumar also discussed the successful organization of international and domestic roadshows, which will be followed by the UP Global Investors Summit in February 2023, as well as dedicated portals for investor facilitation such as the Single Window Nivesh Mitra portal, the Investor Relationship Management System-Nivesh Sarathi portal, and the Online Incentive Management System.
